Then & Now Challenge

with No Comments

For those of you who celebrate Halloween, Happy Halloween!

We’ve got a new challenge for you! A Then & Now Challenge! Tell us about something or someone from long ago, and then show us how they look now!

You could choose a person and show how they’ve changed over the years from childhood to adulthood, or you could show photos of a hobby you did as a child that you still do now, or a favorite object that has stood the test of time — show it before and then now. You could even reenact the same pose from an old childhood photo with your siblings. Make this challenge your own and come up with fun ideas!

What fun ideas the Creative Team came up with! I really like how different these pages are and the fun ideas they help spark! Hopefully they will help get your creative juices flowing. Now it’s your turn to play along! What fun thing or person are you going to use in your page for the Then & Now Challenge?

Here are the rules:

1. Create a page that tells us about your take on the Then & Now Challenge.

2. Post your individual pages in our Then & Now Challenge Gallery.

3. Leave a comment for some other pages in the gallery. (Optional but highly recommended.)

This challenge is open for approximately 2 weeks. It will officially be closed to new entries on the night of November 13th, 2011 at midnight (Pacific Time).

We will announce the winner and post the winning layout here on the Digital Scrapper Blog, our Facebook page, and in our forum within a week of the challenge end date. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to our Digital Scrapper Shop that can be used towards Photoshop Elements & Adobe Photoshop Video Tutorials and awesome kits and templates!

Be sure to watch for the winner of the Top 10 Favorites Challenge to be announced later this week!

If you’re new to digital scrapbooking and need some help learning to make your own digital scrapbook pages, check out our Learn Digital Scrapbooking class, taught by Adobe’s Official Scrapbooking Expert, Linda Sattgast. You’ll learn the basics and get started designing terrific, unique pages like the ones above in Photoshop Elements or Adobe Photoshop!

We hope those of you who celebrate Halloween have a wonderful and fun night!

Happy Scrapping!
