Swimsuit Challenge

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying your summer as much as we are!

We’ve got a fun new challenge for you…a Swimsuit Challenge: scrap your favorite swimsuit from the past, present, or future!

This is a fun one! And if all else fails, and you don’t have a photo of yourself in a swimsuit (from any time in your life) you can always use your husband’s or child’s or niece’s or nephew’s or grandchild’s photo!

Want to see what our FABULOUS Creative Team came up with? They did an amazing job. Here they are:

These are such fun pages! I just love how each Creative Team member interpreted this challenge! These are so fun and colorful to look at!

Challenge requirements:

  1. Use any kit you love to create a layout and scrap about your favorite swimsuit (past, present, or future)!
  2. Post your individual pages in our Challenge Gallery.
  3. Leave some love for the other layouts in this gallery. (Optional, but highly recommended!)

This challenge is open for approximately 2 weeks. It will officially be closed to new entries on the night of July 17th, 2011 at midnight (Pacific Time).

We will announce the winner and post the winning layout here on the Digital Scrapper Blog, our Facebook page, and in our forum within a week of the challenge end date. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to our Digital Scrapper Shop that can be used towards Photoshop Elements & Adobe Photoshop Video Tutorials and awesome kits and templates!

If you’re new to digital scrapbooking and want to learn how to create your own digital scrapbook pages, check out our Learn Digital Scrapbooking class, taught by Adobe’s Official Scrapbooking Expert, Linda Sattgast. You’ll learn the basics and get started designing your own terrific, unique pages in Photoshop Elements or Adobe Photoshop!

We can’t wait to see what fun pages you guys come up with!

I just want to clear up something about my LO. I’ve been getting some(kind) comments in the gallery about how brave I am and how good I look. PULEEZE!!! Realize, this was taken about 30 years ago!!!! I look NOTHING like that any more. The point of the LO is that it was the last bathing suit I ever bought/wore. I won’t be caught dead in a bathing suit these days. There is a reason for the cliche, “Youth is wasted on the young,” for of course, I didn’t think I looked good at all back then. When we got this challenge, I went thru all these old photos, and thought, “by cracky, I didn’t look half bad!” ROTF Oh how I wish I still had that body!
