Quick Tip—Colorizing

Cool elements and word art are not always the color you want them to be. Use this tip to give just about anything a color change.

This is an element I created to match my scrapbook page. I originally thought that pink was the color I wanted, but after getting it on the page, I felt a more matchy, matchy color would be better. So, here’s how I changed the color:

  • Add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer.
  • Clip the adjustment layer to the element.
  • Adjust the Hue slider in the Adjustments panel (Properties panel).

Here’s how it looks on my scrapbook page using papers and other elements from Live, Love by Kitty Designs.
