Project 12 – December 2011

with 7 Comments

If you are new to Project 12, the challenge has been to scrap a page or two about each month of the year. By the end, you’ll have a wonderful overview of your year, and you can create an album to preserve those memories for your family!

As we close this year of 2011, it has been so much fun to look in the Project 12 Gallery and see your beautiful creations! So many of you will be able to print albums that showcase your entire year of 2011!

Those of you who’ve hung in for this whole year, the prizes will be announced the week of January 16th, 2012, so stay tuned!

Each month we like to feature several Project 12 layouts here on the blog. These pages are inspiration for the rest of us! Looking through the Project 12 Gallery, these layouts caught my eye, and I would like to share them with you today!

I love that Thejage re-purposed QuickPages, converted them into the 8.5×11 format, and made them work for her Project 12 pages!

I love that she got the idea to do this page from a magazine! So creative!

To be eligible for the Project 12 prize, you need to have created a page or double page layout about each month of 2011.

If you started playing part way through the year, that’s all right. As long as you get caught up and have a page or pages about each month of 2011 uploaded to the Project 12 Gallery by midnight on January 16, 2012, you are eligible for the Project 12 prize drawing that we will be holding the week of January 16th, 2012. Also, each person who completes this entire challenge (meaning a page or more about each month of this year) will receive a sweet participation prize at that time!

I love looking through our Project 12 Gallery for inspiration, and hopefully you will be inspired, too! These featured layouts were really outstanding!

I can’t wait to see what other Project 12 creations will be uploaded to our Project 12 Gallery. Perhaps some of them will be yours!

I finally fished my project 12. There are a 3 pages not in my album on line because they contain family or friends photos who are internet shy, which I think is a good thing.
I’m almost done with the front and back cover and title page, then I just have wait for a printing sale.

It is really fascinating to look back at my own pages & be reminded of events.

I personally have enjoyed seeing everyones books come to life through out the year. Congrats to all who committed and finished the project. Looking forward to seeing your pages in 2012

I was surprised to see my pages mentioned. And, as Thejage commented, they were identified incorrectly. No matter, I am flattered for the mention. It’s been fun participating in this challenge. I’ve completed pages for all 12 months, but there are several events that I hope and plan to document with several new pages. Just need the time and inspiration to get them done.

Somehow I was given credit for the top two pages listed here and they are not mine. They are lovely LOs and congratualations to whoever composed them.

Oh gosh, I’m so sorry! Somehow the names got mixed up! I’m thinking this occurred due to the holiday madness! It’s been corrected, my apologies!
