The I Love _____ Winner is…

lauraloub

by lauraloub

This layout by lauraloub has so many things going for it!

Her use of the Scrap It Now Template is simply wonderful! Heritage photos just do not come in a ‘one-size-fits-all’ form. The fact that this layout flows so smoothly is due in part to the template, but the background paper really ties all the different tones in the photos together. It was a perfect choice! I love her journaling — it’s matter-of-fact, yet personal and heartwarming.

Congratulations, lauraloub, on winning the ‘I Love . . .’ Challenge!

Congratulations, Laura! A beautiful page filled with great photos. How fortunate you are to have so many pictures. Although, now that I think of it, I have lots of pictures but have no idea who the people are! Great LO!

For the last few years I have been working on my family genealogy. There are amazing experts out there who can date a photo within a couple of years by clothing, backdrop, style of the photographer, and things the subject might be holding. Then with a simple tree, you can narrow down the possible people to only a few who were the right age in those years. Never get rid of those wonderful old photos. Someone in the family might want to become the “”photo detective”.

I’ve been slowly working on my family genealogy and am really touched by your creation.
