Get Well, Lauren!

with 6 Comments

Hi, everyone! In case you didn’t hear, this month’s wonderfully talented designer Lauren Grier is very sick and has been in the hospital for a few weeks. You can read more about the details here.

Sweet Shoppe Designs is selling a HUGE collaborative kit called A Little Help From My Friends as a fundraiser to help Lauren (since her designing is the only income she supports her family with, and she’s a single mom). Here’s a preview of that GORGEOUS kit:

To purchase this kit, please click here. This fundraising kit will only be available until the end of April, so please go grab it!

We were thinking it would be really cool if people were to put this kit to use by making a get well page or card for Lauren and posting it into a special Get Well, Lauren! Gallery here at Digital Scrapper. Our first example is by cute judyinsd:

Our next example is by Jan Walker, who’s on the Scrapper’s Guide Business Team and director of the forums here:

Now it’s your turn! Give yourself a little time to play with this awesome kit (it’s really fun!), and make a cute page or card for Lauren!

Please use the Little Help From My Friends kit and help out Lauren Grier. 100% of all money made on this kit will go directly to Lauren to help her.

And remember, post your pages/cards here: Get Well, Lauren! Gallery. Thanks! We will send Lauren a link to this special gallery to let her know of our concern and support.

We appreciate our Scrapper’s Guide community reaching out and offering support so much! We can’t wait to see what you come up with and post.

I’ll leave you with one last thought:

She did post this update on her blog:
      http://scrapfasticdesigns.com/blog/2011/05/hello-i-love-you/

I know she’s home and that she’s doing much better, yet it will
be awhile before she’s back to her usual health again, I think.
      She’s been through so much, she’s a trooper! 🙂

I have tried to get my scrapbook pages to upload to the blog.
I go from premier to the blog to get info on how. Then the blog wants a different password and it is so confusing, I just want to give up. I want to learn how and I am sure it will be. HELP

      Hi Suzy!
When you say you have tried to get your page to upload to the blog, do you mean the gallery? If so, the gallery does require a different sign in vs. the Premier, and you may not have registered to post in the gallery yet. Go to this link: http://www.scrappersguide.com/forums/register.php?action=signup
I recommend setting yourself up with the same username and password as you have to Premier, so it will be easier for you to remember. Then try uploading your page. If you have a problem after following these directions, please let me know and we’ll help you! Thank you for wanting to participate in this get well section of our gallery! 🙂
