February Layout of the Month

with 10 Comments

February was a busy month in our Member’s Gallery, and there were so many beautiful layouts. We think you will agree that this is a stunning page by eviehunter and is a wonderful choice for Layout of the Month!

This layout of the train station from which her family left Germany in 1960 is very poignant. This photo was taken on her trip back in 2006 to visit relatives, and eviehunter says there was something magical about returning to it. Well, there’s something magical about this layout too. She did an awesome job with the Photo Sketch Painting tutorial by Jan Walker, and her blending is superb! I love the photo on the left side balanced by the butterfly on the right. A very well composed layout.

Congratulations, eviehunter, on being chosen for the February 2012 Layout of the Month!

The gallery is full of examples of this wonderful tutorial, but yours truly stands out when combined with the additional elements that you added. Time to get out all of my travel pictures and pick some.
