Hi there!

Like me, you likely have many alpha sets sitting in your stash just begging to be brought out. If you’re an alpha fan, but never quite know how to use them, this tip is for you.

Here’s Title Tip #6: Alpha-Paired Title
Pair a contrasting alpha with type to create an eye-catching title.

Tips for creating a title like this:

  • A big, shadow-style alpha will work best.
  • Never add a shadow to a stamp-style alpha.
  • Use a contrasting font for the second part of the title. For example, serif vs san serif or print vs script.

I had a LOT of fun with this title tip. I hope you do, too.

Love and creative success,

P.S. The header above was created using A Pocket Full of Sunshine by Kristin Cronin-Barrow.

P.P.S. “Into the Sea” uses Auvelle and Into the Sea by Kristin Cronin-Barrow. “Love You” uses Herlyna and A Million Little Things by Angie Briggs. “Memories In the Making” uses Beauty And Love and Autumn Bliss by Katie Pertiet. “Pool Party” uses Forestelly and Fireside Warmth by Aimee Harrison.
