Digital Scrapper Titlework Challenge

with 3 Comments

We’ve got a fun new challenge for you! Are you great with word art or titlework? If so, we want you to show us what you’ve got!

Here are a few tidbits of titlework and word art to get your creative juices flowing:

And here’s a page I made to show an example of some fun titlework (mostly using our November Premier Christmas Past kit by Scrap Kitchen Designs):

To get some cool titlework, it’s often a good idea to draw from different fonts or alphas to keep it interesting. For the word “expressions” I used a past Premier kit, Soaring High by Eva Kipler. For the background letters “FAVORITE” I used another past Premier kit, Love you Always by Amanda Rockwell. I just loved those letters. I also reduced the opacity to help this background word not overpower the title.

We’d love to see what you come up with, so please come play with us!

The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to the Scrapper’s Guide Store, where you can find awesome Photoshop Elements & Photoshop video tutorials and some sweet kits.

Here’s how to enter the challenge:

  1. Create a page using unique Titlework or Wordart, using any kit or kits you love.
  2. Upload your page to our Challenge Gallery.
  3. Leave a comment on another page in our gallery (not required, but highly encouraged)!

This challenge is open for 2 weeks. It will be officially closed to new entries on the night of December 5th, 2010 at midnight (Pacific Time).

The winner will be announced here on this blog, on our facebook page, twitter page and in our forum within a week of the challenge end date.

What fun ideas can you come up with? Please show us! Happy Scrapping!

What a fun challenge! I hope to find the time to submit something, in between finishing Linda’s Let’s Get Scrapbooking Class and working on holiday projects.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone – visitors, members and especially all the staff at Digital Scrappers!!!
