July 2014 Premier Top Pick

Choosing the Top Pick each month is getting much harder! In many cases, there are several pages worthy of this accolade, and this month’s selection of stunning pages are no exception.

I love the way so many of our members tackle all the tutorials and often make several pages for the Premier gallery. This month’s Top Pick goes to lkdavis for her beautiful page titled, Celebrate. It epitomizes the theme of the month, the Fourth of July, and is a classic example of how powerful a simple page design can be. lkdavis also created a second page, called Little Parade, which was equally powerful in its simplicity, and I had a really hard time deciding between those two. Click on the page titles above to read what lkdavis had to say about her layouts.

Note on gallery pages: To help us make your pages look their best, we would appreciate it if you saved your layouts at a size of 700 x 700 pixels and as jpegs rather than gifs.

My belated congratulations to Ms. Davis for your Premier Top Pick place of honor. I loved your outstanding layout design and carry through. I am definitely not surprised that you received this special honor. The field as usual with all these talented scrappers was a tough decision for the committee to make. My happy sentiment to all who won recognition for their outstanding and creative designs. Kudos! 🙂

Wow! These are spectacular. I was away on vacation with spotty internet access most of July and haven’t had a chance to see the pages posted in the July gallery. Now I am sure to look at them all to absorb the creative inspiration to be found there, and get back in the scrapbooking groove. Congratulations to each artist!
