June 2014 Premier Top Pick

June was a wonderful opportunity for our Premier members to celebrate fathers, grandfathers, and even great grandfathers! We loved this page by fullterr who created a beautiful tribute to her father, who at ninety-four, is still playing eighteen holes of golf. She used the Painted Wood tutorial by Lydia Tarbox to recreate the faded red walls of the family barn. Read what fullterr had to say about her page here.

It was a joy to browse the gallery and see how everyone interpreted the artistic techniques taught in Jen White’s Double Stacked Sketches and Barb Brookbank’s Pixelated Pics. And there were some great birthday candles and paper slimdowns. Thanks to all who participated in making our June 2014 Premier Gallery so memorable.

Note on gallery pages: To help us make your pages look their best, it would be much appreciated if they could be saved at a size of 700 x 700 pixels, and as jpegs rather than gifs.

I am going to remember the words fullterr used in her journaling. Close together or far apart you are always in my heart.
